The Sandbox is a community-driven gaming platform that empowers game makers to create, publish, and monetize a myriad of unique experiences on a decentralized platform with cryptocurrency payments. With the support of millions of creators around the world, the goal is to make The Sandbox the new standard in world-building games, with millions of user-created 3D voxel assets and games available as NFTs on the blockchain.

The Sandbox is a decentralised platform made by players for players. Within five years of publicly launching the game, The Sandbox's goal is that 100% of the LAND and SAND will be owned by the players. By then there will not be any LAND or SAND in the company reserves. The ASSETs in the game are user-generated, so those are already owned by their creators. The Sandbox are building an ecosystem where content and value will be in the hands of the community and believe this is true decentralisation.

The Sandbox is proud to have a diverse, multi-national team of people from various cultures, experiences and backgrounds who either work from one of their offices all over the world or remotely. The Sandbox have team members based in France, Argentina, Korea, Japan, United Kingdom, United States and so on.
